Sixteen years across engineering, product, and consulting. I currently lead a small engineering team building a commercial secure-communications platform: a hardened Android fork maintained across six major versions, an encrypted messaging application, 35+ backend services, and the self-hosted HA infrastructure beneath all of it. I build engineering functions where none existed - CI/CD, supply-chain security, onboarding, architecture standards - and I stay close enough to the code to own the security-critical surface myself.

Lead a small team of engineers across Android platform, backend, and infrastructure for a commercial secure-phone product line.
Maintain a hardened AOSP fork across six major Android versions (11–16) with 147 carried framework commits, and wrote two Rust CLIs that automate security backporting across ~60 forked projects.
Designed an in-platform MDM subsystem inside Android's system_server (~11.5k lines of Java, new AIDL system APIs) with realtime command channel, remote policy enforcement, and device integrity attestation.
Architected a white-label build system: six brands across eight Pixel devices from a single parameterized tree, decoupling maintenance cost from product-line growth.
Led a strangler migration from a C++11 monolith and PHP portal to 35+ event-driven TypeScript microservices with no customer-facing downtime.
Built a PGP keyserver over LDAP, HKP, and HTTP, retiring a commercial vendor dependency.
